Exterior sticker residue

If it isn't that bad, Windex with ammonia will work and will not damage anything. I have used goo gone on my cars with no issues with clear coat. Just do a small amount at a time and don't forget to apply wax when you are done. Many of those things will take the wax off.

I did not start my day today with intentions of removing old decals but the job sort of presented itself so it got done.

The job was cracked & dried out decals on the engine cowling of a 12 year old outboard that has never been covered.

Step 1 was a heat gun & a not very sharp putty knife. This took the decals off as easy as can be.

Step 2 was a terry towel soaked with acetone. This took the residual glue off dead simple & clean.

Step 3, a cleaner wax treatment. Looking pre decal new.

These typically remove any wax that was on the siding but not the clear coat. Applying some new wax afterwards would be a good idea.

Depends what the siding is. Aluminum powder coat, be more careful. Painted or gel coat surfaces, acetone or anything weaker than that won't damage anything.
FLat razor blade will scrape off most of it.
Options ot remove the rest of the residue, everything mentioned so far, or an eraser wheel if you have a bunch to do or the right situation needing that.

X2......and you probably already have some!

3M automotive adhesive remover spray can used as per instructions.

Acetone, Lacquer thinner, many expensive products for cleaning.

Having tried quite a few including all that have been mentioned here so far I have found that Rapid Remover out performs them all and wont damage the clear coat.
