Extra_POI_Editor

Has anyone used Extra_POI_Editor to edit their GPS files. If so is it easy to use? I see all these POI you can down load but they are not in the format I need. I have a TomTom Via and the files I want are in a different format. Any help, other the get something else the a TomTom.

Although the editor is primarily a Garmin tool, it does save the results to other formats, including TomTom. I've found it easy enough to use once you get the hang of it. And the price is certainly right . . .

I have used it to get low bridge clearance converted.

remember the conversion will not help you avoid things while routing it will warn you when approaching something. go to preferences in tomtom and make a distinctive sound for each. If you tomtom is like mine then you can RECORD a message for each. For example my low bridge warning is me saying LOW BRIDGE, LOW BRIDGE, LOW BRIDGE and it will occur 3000 feet before obstacle.
