Flat towing a 2018 Tahoe

Anyone towing a 2018 Tahoe ? My owners manual says the negative battery terminal must be removed....any comments ?? When flat towing, do miles accumulate on the odometer ? Yes, I have the 2 speed transfer case with a neutral. I’d like to go Blue Ox, but their online info says that for the adaptive cruise, the fog lights must be removed (and not put back in). The Roadmaster and Demco units will attach to the towing hooks
bracket once they are removed with a minimal amount of bumper and air dam trimming.
Last but not least, what type of braking unit are you using ?

Okay......in reading other posts, I now understand why the negative battery terminal must be disconnected and also that I can run a 12V plug for my Blue Ox Patriot braking unit.
