Flies have taken over!

I have searched all the forums and guess I'm searching wrong!

Is there any help for staving off flies?

I've tried the pennies in water hanging bags. Doesn't work.

Thanks to all for your "wonderful" suggestions...even the entertaining ones. I forgot about the strips. Think I'll try them in my screen room and patio along with the fan.

If you don't like flies, do not go to Withrow Springs SP in Ark. No flies until you fire up the grille or sit down to eat. Never seen flies that bad anywhere before.

For those of us in the midwest there is Great yellow jacket trap too. Key factor is knowing "when" to put the trap out to eliminate them from the area.

Tractor supply ( most feed stores) also has fly traps, you put a liquid in them and hang up, the flies are drawn to it. (Get the re-fillable bottle as the liquid is cheap) We use this for our horses, goats and chickens. As stated a fan outside will work too.

The only problem with using fly sticks is that I always run into them, no matter how far away or out of the way, I put them!!

To the OP: When you need things that actually work always go to a farm store. :W

Go to any farm supply store, feed store, horse supply store or your local Tractor Supply Store, or on line and buy THIS fly strip.

It 'attracts' them and REALLY works cutting down the flies in and outside your RV. NO chemicals. It uses a safe attractant. Safe around food, humans and animals. Except the fly of course! This fly stick is amazing on keeping flys away AND killing them.

I have read that PineSol will keep flies away. I have never tried it, but plan to try it.
