  • Thanks for that "brightener for the day", Gary. On our BC visits we often use the next crossing to the east, depending on the wait times shown on the overhead road signs in Bellingham.

    Unfortunately our travels are not in an RV any more nor are they as frequent (age related). I figure that, since we live in a seaside town with great views and relatively calm traffic (Anacortes), it made little sense to spend time and burn gasoline at 7 mpg to visit places that were not as nice.

    Frank, Anacortes is a beautiful city and the area too, is outstanding. No need to have an RV, when you live in the PNW!
