I believe he means that's what he's towing, not what he's towing with.
I can answer the HP question though as I have the same truck.
The 2.7 is 325 HP, 375 # torque. Mine is as light as they come (I have a Super Duty diesel, I bought this one to replace my car) and it's rated to tow 7,600 #. It's just a great truck so far and I'm averaging over 20 MPG in mixed driving. The 2.7 is a gem.
Yes, I know it's a toad, the question was the horse power on the motorhome engine. I have a 35 foot DP with a 330 HP Cat and I want to make sure it can tow the truck okay before I buy one.
