We rent a box for the winter and have mail forwarded to it. I leave a note in large print in the mail box that says return mail to Post Office to be forwarded. Last winter our village had subsitute mail men. Some mail was returned to the sender instead of being forwarded. They have been replaced by full time people so we hope we do not have that problem this year.
