As a librarian, I always look first at who put it there. The Open Library is part of the Internet Archive. Use caution, since Open Library content is editable by users, similar to Wikipedia.
It looks like there is a great variety of material available. My preliminary exploration found both e-books and physical copies. Many items had wait lists. Still, an interesting source. Thanks for the link.
