Of course oil companies give millions to fund politics, but that aside. Shouldn't the free market work w/out Trump wasting his time conspiring w our arch enemy Putin, and MBS, 2 dictators that want nothing but the end of American world power? We can survive just fine w/out Russian and Saudi oil let them die a thousand deaths. They can only survive by extracting and selling oil so for every extra dollar we pay to them we increase how much Russia can spend to arm themselves and enable the Saudis/Russia to destabilize the middle-east causing horrific human suffering in Yemen, Turkey, Syria.
