Glue for slide seals

The top corners of my slide seals often separates leaving a gap. I have to get up on a ladder and pull them together.

Does anyone know of a glue that will hold these wiper seals together?

I have one corner that is glued and you can't pull it apart without tearing the rubber.

I have purchased several types of glue that is supposed to work but none of them have.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Contact cement. Not sure if it'll work with other adhesive residue on there.

I don't know if you want to glue them. The slides seals bend when you move the slides in our out. If you glue them you might put strss on them and tear them. When I open my slides and the seals don't seat properly I take a long smooth extension pole under the seals work it upward while rotating it outward to move the seal to it's proper position. Also, be sure to keep your seals lubricated with Silicon spray to keep them pliable.

I assume you are referring to the Bulb or D seal.

No I am talking about the wipes, where they come together at the top corners. Mine leave a gap after a few opening and closings. I want to glue the corners together.

I assume you are referring to the Bulb or D seal. One of mine on the inside fell completely off and like you, I couldn't find any adhesive that worked very good so I pulled the bulb portion to one side and used crown staples on the flat part to fasten it to the wall. Because it was on the inside and hidden behind the slide trim, it was acceptable. If it's an outside seal and you try my method, I would cover the staples with a rubberized sealant to prevent any chance of moisture causing a problem down the road.

I asked him to do one thing and he didn't do any of them.
