X2 on Fresh Cab

You'll have to get rid of them first, than try Fresh Cab to keep them away. Been using it for my 2nd year now with no sign of activity.

Nothing caught in "redneck" trap over 4-5 days--Caught nothing in higher end conventional traps, 2 days. Put in the Tin Cat today.
Maybe, they already vacated because of peppermint oil?

Caught nothing last night. Will try some better conventional traps and the "Tin Cat".
Since I had NO food in the RV, maybe they just used it for a warmer nest and have departed to look for food. I'll find out soon enough.

We are also on a farm & in a building, concrete floor. The building is equipped with killer cats but we also do the dryer sheets & mothball routine inside.

In 28 years having my nice pole building (toy barn) we've only had those cute gray little mice once and I felt so sorry for them having to constantly hunt for food, so I fed them personally and very well. "D-Con" All I can figure is they must have gotten tired of the same constant taste and wanted more variety because they never came back. Maybe if D-Con were too come in different flavors would help their boredom? Picky little fellas aren't they? Probably told all their friends and relation too because even they are boycotting my free food!

Ohhh! how we miss them and all the little tiny babies they used to have! We'd have been very happy to share some of the cute little babies with any of you if you wanted some so you can feed and watch them grow and each have more families so you could enjoy a thriving community right in your own yard! Those "in the house sealed ant farms" are way too small when you can have a "mouse farm" as big as your whole property...

PS: They like to RV too and they don't take up much room or add much weight so why not?

I set out a "redneck" mousetrap yesterday. Hopefully a bunch of them fell for it.
I have absolutely no food stored in the RV. Not sure why they were attracted except for shelter.

Preventing mice is part preparation and part luck. We just thoroughly clean and leave nothing inside during storage and have never had mice.

I second using cats, every year when I close up the popup for winter, while winterizing I open every cabinet, drawer, etc and let my cat in to just wander around, rub up against stuff etc. then during the winter when there is snow, and the cat can't get out (we trained her to go outside to go do her business) we put a pee pad in front of the sliding door the cat uses, and I put the used pads under the popup (maybe 2 for the entire winter) and in 7 years not once have I had any mice issues. I know they are around because the cat will kill them and put them in front of the door as "presents" for us.. Lol

I use nothing and never had mice. I recommend a good heavy trap to break them in half and leave the peppermint oil to the candy makers.
