Good Sam Financing
Wondering if anyone has experience with Good Sam for new trailer financing? Their rates are better than what I have come across so far (5.39%), just curious of how their process is. Thanks!

Have you decided on a bank yet? I found the best advertised
price on a trailer I'm looking for at a Camping World. However, they say that price is contingent upon arranging financing through them. I don't mind if i get a good rate,but I plan on doing some comparison shopping.
That said, I wonder how much price flexibility I can find for that trailer at any dealership who has it. Camping World shows list price as 44,550 and sale price of 31,999. Same model on rvtrader is listed between 36-39K.- We looked around a lot. No reason to pay more than 3.9% unless you have crappy credit.
- First off, there's far too much ambiguity in the OP's initial post for anyone to unequivocally provide an answer. The OP says only that they're looking at rates for a new trailer. Is that a Coleman or an Airstream? Is it a popup or the biggest, baddest 5er on the lot? We talking about a 3 year loan or a 15 year loan? Is the OP's credit great, decent, sufficient, or just plain horrific?
A rate of 5.39% might not be out of line depending on the circumstances. Not trying to be critical of the OP, but some of the responses have interjected answers to questions that weren't asked.
Secondly, the borrower shouldbn't be concerned with how many people are in line (or who it is) that's getting a kickback on the rate.
Thirdly, adding more middle-men does not always mean that the rate is always going to be higher. It probably is a good indicator that the rate may tend to be higher, but its not an automatic.
Fourthly, any time this question comes up, there are those who suggest going to your local credit union. Well in some cases (not all), you have to be a member of that credit union to work with them. In some cases, the credit union is limited in what services/terms they can provide based on local regulations.
If you get the overall terms you're satisfied with, then a half a percent one way or another isn't going to make much difference. I always suggest shopping around enough to get what makes you happy. And yes, I used CW/Good Sams to finance my rig and was happy with the transaction. - I don't know if this is typical but my local credit union was 2% higher than what I ended up getting financed for. I got a really good rate on my Jeep from the credit union but their RV/Boat rates were really high. I spoke with them and they said there was more risk with RV/boat loans so they have a higher rate. Checked several credit unions in this area and they were all higher than what I got at the dealer.

- Just did a search for RV financing. Found this site with slightly better rates. The best rate depends on how much you want to borrow, and for how long.
