Those gravel sites on the river are hard to beat, I just wish they had sewer. We usually stay up the hill on one of the river deck sites with sewer. I have been real tempted to stay down where you did and use their pump services.
I'm impressed you caught some fish. I've watch people fish days on end there and have never seen anyone catch anything. They say that the DNR does restock the river with Trout every year.
