I have the Rand McNally GPS built in to the so called "Infotainment" center on our Winnie. I brought the SD card into the house so I could download some trips I routed on the Good Sam site. The docking software said there was an update available for my unit so I downloaded it. When I returned to the RV with the card. The software was corrupted and would not boot. Rand McNally support said they were working on a fix as several persons had experienced the same problem. I asked if it were possible to "roll back" the update to the previous version and they said it wouldn't work that way. I got a PM from RandMcSam ( who had monitored a post I left on the forum)saying to email him with the serial number etc.which I did. He said he would get it fixed in a "timely" fashion. I let him know that my unit did not have a Good Sam logo on it anywhere so wondered if he was the right person for the fix. Apparently, no one will be working on the issue over the weekend so, I'll be using the CoPilot app on my iPad for a trip we are leaving on tomorrow. Always something in these very complicated rigs.
