It costs more money for a death row inmate than a life in prison inmate. They eat up a lot more free lawyer money with extensive appeals.
That is generally a true statement, except for Texas.
Some of you might want to rethink your stance if all you want to do is save money.
Even in Texas it costs 3 times as much as life in prison.
