Help setting up B&W Companion 3500

Folks, if I had the FW at the house, I could do this. But I just received my companion and need to install it to go get the FW. So I need some ballpark hitch settings to get me by to go get the trailer and return home. The trip home will be about 130(ish) miles. My specs are listed as:

2012 Ram 3500 CC dually long box, 4x4, stock
2014 Cyclone 3800 at factory height.

What settings should I use for height and for/aft?

  • Mine is set full forward and full height. Give me 5.6" of clearance on my GMC 3500. Don't forget to bring your torque wrench when set up.

Take your tools and adjust when you get there.

Good advice, I assembled the hitch the way I think it will likely be and then after seeding how easy it is, I can adjust. I went all the way forward and mid height with the pivot arms.
