Hope all you Snowbirds got out ahead of the blizzards!

I'm in Florida right now.

I am seeing MH's pulling into town covered in salt! :E

Hope all our RV Snowbirds make it safely thru these
snow storms.
  • Bigly deal! It was 91 in Florida last week no thank you!!!!

People that leave before the colors of autumn are a sad bunch!
  • It will snow a little here in SW MN but, it will melt. No need to panic just yet. Or, at least I hope not. We still have all of our crops in the fields.

It is going to be below freezing for several hours tonight. I have removed from my garden everything that will easily freeze and covered up the potatoes just to be safe. The carrots will actually tasted better after the freeze because the plant puts more sugar into the root (which is what a carrot is for those of you who don't know)

I haven't winterized my TT yet. I'm a little worried but, not to much. It sets inside a shed at my house, I have the heat turned on, the water heater turned on, and a electric space heater blowing under the camper where the low point drains are located.

Cross your finger for me but, I think , and hope, I will be OK.
  • Send some my way. Looked thru some old pics and the last time we really had a good snowstorm here in DFW was early 2010.
  • 28 tonight in Prescott and here. No clouds but any water will freeze however.
50 this am and 60-63 the high today. High winds for the next several days. Wind is quartering out of the northeast and from her that is the alley that bad weather comes from up noth.
  • Sadly this will also affect all the RV'ers that choose to vacation out west in early fall.
  • Let's hope this is not going to be an indication of the winter that lies ahead. Snow in early October is just waaaaaaaaaaay too sooooooooooon.
