Will the hot water heater light on Lp if no water in tank?

THAT^^^^ has nothing to do with whether or not water is in the WH Tank
What Brand/Model is it.....
Had it in for service and they said it wouldn't light on LP

LP is a simple 12VDC Circuit
Generic....
DC from fused source goes to LP the On/Off Switch
From switch it goes to
*DC Junction box on Suburban---then to the set of DC T-stats----then to circuit board----from circuit board to the gas valve/spark electrode
*DC goes to Circuit Board on Atwood....then to/thru thermals fuse and T-stat back to circuit board. Then goes to/thru ECO (high temp t-stat) and then to gas valve and Spark electrode
So follow the DC....simple
