I’ve run into FAR more ignoramuses in ‘RV resorts’ and ‘campgrounds’ than I have in 35 years of ‘free camping’ spots.
The ones who pay seem to have a far higher level of entitlement than the ones who are grateful for receiving something for free.
Ain't that the truth. People assume (wrongly) that if they pay a fee to camp, they can do whatever they want to. Now if that was me, I'd wait until no one was around and put some sugar in the gas tank. That would have solved the issue pretty quick.
We tend to stay at State campgrounds here in Michigan. People who camp in them are somewhat courteous. Not all, but most are.
