Reading this reminds me of why I try to stay away from RV parks and campgrounds. :)

I use twigs and a little paper and some shreds of cardboard if available under kindling and then some larger logs. The pieces of Duraflame logs or better yet some pieces of fatwood are nice to have as a backup when it's damp out. In a pinch potato chips will burn pretty hot for a few minutes.
