Neat! Can I have an egg? - RRBobExplorerI have a pet fire breathing dragon. She is great for starting camp (and other) fires.
- mowermechExplorerI give the wood a good soaking with charcoal lighter fluid.
If I remember to let it soak in for a couple minutes, it works every time.
If I light it too soon, maybe not so well. - vandaveExplorerLighter fluid.
- CrabbypattyExplorerOur campfire strats after we eat usally so we start it with the hot coals from the charcoal grill. But I do like that tip of 2 gallons of gas, a road flare and logs! Sometimes on a damp day seems like you need that or a flame thrower. (I do keep a plumbers torch in the tool box that I screw on the 1lb propane bombs. That has come in handy!)
