Wow, you all drive lots of miles in a day. Sometimes we do not even drive a hundred miles. With all the horrible drivers on the road, we find the actual drive towing to be very stressful and try not to drive more than 250 miles per day. We prefer a more relaxed approach.
My sentiments exactly. Soon after I retired a couple years ago, we camped from Florida to Alaska and back. Usually left campground by 9:30-10:00 and was almost always off road by 2pm. Never had reservations, except Denali and those weren't made until we got most of the way there. Been there done that on those long days when I was working. (600 to 700 miles a day with three kids)
