That's opening two enclosures to get to the open flame and the sign I'm responding to specifically says OPEN which IMO IT IS NOT

And these 2 enclosures are sealed tight enough that no flammable vapour can get to the flame right?
The flame is fed by some OTHER source of fresh air other than the convection process drawing in fresh air (that might actually be rich with gasoline vapour) through that louvered door?
