As a teacher I do put up with some of that. As for camping when that does occur I ask which campsite is theirs and go over and speak personally with the father or mother. Nicely explain what I asked them to do and why I didn't appreciate the response of the child. And then watch the parent lecture the child on proper behavior. If I don't get the response I wanted or the adult is not nice then I go get the ranger and let them handle the issue. Be nice, ask nice and good things happen.
