That should set RVing back at least 50 years.
Why?
Convenience
Comfort
Durability
Long driving time without stops
Living space
ECO friendly vs. heavy pollution produced by supplying excessive electricity to electric vehicle which must be produced by power stations using fossil fuels.
How many reasons do you want as to "why"? - CroweExplorerIck.

I agree that a potty, shower and sink would be nice.
If you closely you’ll notice there’s a narrow set of steps up to the bed and a large area to the left (as you go up) with no railings around that ledge. It seems pretty likely the washroom was removed in the cut-away rendering.
Or do people really think it won’t have a roof, drivers side wall or door either?

Sounds like the worst of all worlds. There's a reason under 25ft, there are very few 5th wheels. It just makes more sense to go bumper pull in those size ranges. - Another source same story.
https://electrek.co/2021/03/11/tesla-cybertruck-electric-pickup-power-camper-elon-musk/ - I don’t know. Little trailers are super popular up here. People tend to look for 24 feet and under do they can get them into the provincial parks. Not only that, most trucks are half tons. And a lot of people here tow with SUV’s or crossovers.
- LynnmorExplorerWe had basic trailers since the Model T, this contraption is just a basic cramped style of traveling similar to that of years ago.

Yah it’s a render. I get the impression the article is more about the possibility of plugging the trailer into the truck for shore power.
And plugging the truck into shore power to recharge??
