- kalynzooExplorerTruck lanes are diesel only. When I had the previous gas RV I would still pick truck stops, as the gas lanes are usually more RV friends. Flying J is usually good, but some still have tight turns on the two RV lanes and I found myself cooling my heals at one Flying J for a while as a shopper was parked sticking out enough to block exit from the RV lane. Having gotten stuck a few times over the last 40+ years, I began to make a habit of not pulling into a station unless I could clearly see the entrance and the exit route. If needed, I would slowly drive by, go around the block and return once I established a comfortable situation. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.
- TheLuvShackExplorerThanks for the responses.
- Sam_SpadeExplorerGenerally, NO.
Some have dedicated RV lanes off to the side of the main car islands though.
I have a C and trailer that adds up to about 40 feet.
I try to always pick and end pump OR come in from the store side so I have a straight shot out.
Better to wait a few minutes for a convenient stall than to get stuck in a bad spot. A tow on the back of an RV is REAL easy to jack-knife if you have to back up very far. (Yes....twice.) - Dog_TrainerExplorer@ over 55' I routinely get gas at the auto pumps. I can Back up a little to wiggle around if needed where you cannot because of the toad hitch up. You can do it just be careful and if all fails you can always un hook the Toad. a little experience will get you looking for thhe right pumps and exit angle.

Frankly I've never looked. Is gas available at the truck lanes at truck stops or do they only have diesel? I just purchased a gas rig with a dinghy that would difficult to get through most the car lanes.
no gas in the truck lanes but most Flying J's have a pair of RV lanes. we're close to 60' long with the toad and use those all the time. - Ranger_SmithExplorerNo
