Is Honda CRV on a dolly OK?

I realize the Honda CRV can no longer be towed 4-down but what about on a dolly? Reading the 2018 Owner's Manual it says, "Your vehicle is not designed to be towed behind a motor home."

In the Emergency Towing section it says (FWD only), "Wheel lift equipment: The tow truck uses two pivoting arms that go under the front tires and lift them off the ground. The rear tires remain on the ground. This is an acceptable way to tow your vehicle."

So, according to the Owner's Manual it is OK to dolly tow in an emergency but not behind a motorhome? I'm confused.

I believe "behind a motor home" is intended to mean 4 down flat towed 😉

According to the Honda Owners Manual, Remco Towing, and TowSpec.com, the CVT equipped FWD (Front Wheel Drive) CRV's can be front wheel lift (dolly) towed with no limit on speed or miles. The AWD (All Wheel Drive) models can only be trailer or flatbed towed.
