For those of you who are out and about this year, and/or buying or selling, is the demand for RVs of all types really up as much as I've been hearing? And are there more people out there than ever?I've been thinking of selling my class c. It has nothing to do with the virus or affordability. I've just found that my interests have slowly changed and I just am not using it much anymore. My tastes have changed more to "week at the cabin" type of trips rather than traveling. I've been thinking about this for over a year and wasn't in any real rush to make a decision, but if the demand and prices are up, maybe now is the time.

They were up but it’s September, California is in flames, kids are one way or another going to school, in the 30s in Denver. I think the circus has left town.

Even with the end of summer season here it is a good time to sell.

My friend listed his 3 year old single axle Jayco camper on Craigslist this morning. A guy came and looked at it this afternoon and it was sold for $500 less than what he paid for it brand new. New and used sales are through the roof this year.

I listed my 27' Itasca cl c that I owned for three years and sold it for the same price I paid to the first person who called and came to look. I must have received 10-15 emails asking to come and buy but I didn't reply to any of them until the first person came.Then the following day I called about a TT and drove almost three hours to look then bought. While looking the seller received three calls inquiring about the trailer.It's a sellers market here in Ca, at least in the SF Bay and Sacramento area.

2 weeks a go I was looking at Craigslist here in Wisconsin. I was a wolfpup trailer for sale that just happened to be the same one that I sold 2 1/2 years ago (I did some alterations on it and they were shown in the photos.) IT sold for $2000 more than I paid for it 3 years ago. The guy;s family got bigger in a hurry when they had twins and no longer fit in a 4 person BH special.I was on the way home yesterday (Labor Day) and stopped at a restaurant. A family asked to see the inside of our TT and offered us more than we paid 2 years ago.

If you are serious, put that "For Sale" sign up as soon as possible !

As soon as the cool weather hits (soon in PN) the demand is going to go down. I also think there are a lot of "first timers" who rushed out and bought equipment early on that are now having second thoughts.

I have sold some boats recently and found the market to be surprisingly strong. It is the same for RVs. Lots of them are changing hands. Now it is fall and not the best time to sell. Still good, but spring may be better.
