I work for AT&T, we kept getting hit over and over. They would throw a rope over our cable and pull down as much as they could with trucks.
Break into our offices, steal all our supplies.
In one of my towns the local scrap yard had a big sign about 100ft from our office that listed the price of copper. Tell me they didn't know where all that copper was coming from.
The crazy thing was... They might steal 3 ft of cable, which might get them $10, but it might cost us thousands to replace.
The theft has slowed, due to new ID laws, but it still occurs.
