Shhhhh don't tell anyone. We in MN are in total lock down. NO RV dealers open.
But, our Governor states "pleasure driving is ok"
Sooooo it was a pleasurable drive to an Iowan RV dealer to test drive an older DP for sale.
Well its not for sale anymore AND they gave us a reasonable trade for our A gasser site unseen.
But we are still under quarantine and I've painted and cleaned more these days than the last few years.
I'll be cleaning out the rv and taking a "pleasurable drive" to Iowa later this month to pick up the new to us DP.
Be wise stay healthy!

Its too damp to paint in the mornings so this morning I made a rock bench down at the pond. This is sand stone country. I find (my 7' Rhino mower finds them sticking up out of the ground) rocks 6-8" thick X 12-14" wide X 36-38" long. I cut up RR ties to support both ends.
The first one I dug up with the loader was shaped kinda' like a poor mans head stone we sometimes see at older cemeteries. The next one came from the same area so I got with the county folks to see if a cemetery was on my 40 acres. No cemetery but around statehood time it was quarried.

I cut/split/sell firewood in the winter months. Just sold the last 4 ricks yesterday.
I cleared another 15 acres (trees/brush) or so for more hay production. I've got all the trees all bucked to length. This coming Friday were looking at the 40s for a high so thats the day I can split and stack the green wood for next years firewood.
With 40 acres there is always some thing to do...when I want to.
Then the wife always has these honey-do projects. Were both 78...good health and enjoying life.

I have cleaned both my linen closets, the stove and about anything else I can. Can't steam the rugs during the day-both my husband and son are working from the house. Bought some of those adult coloring posters and have starting one of them. I have discovered that my fine motor skills are shot. I can't color between the lines that well!

Thinking about pulling the toilet ball seal. Clean and lube it and replace. Itโ€™s starting to loose the water seal.

I painted an old rocking chair we have, just so I could watch the paint dry.

Well, I've hit the "Hide" button on any thread pertaining to the virus, so that cuts down on any threads I see. Don't need the stress and nonsense.

X2. Haven't hit the "hide" button but I probably should. There's too many people on basking in the love of doom and gloom and appear to be in delighting the thought of depressing people. Don't need it. As far as comparing this to the regular flu it's just to show relativity.

Kind of funny.

I-20 at I-45 in Dallas Texas was shut down this morning. An 18 wheeler caught fire and scattered it's load over the freeway as it wrecked.

Carried commercial sized rolls of toilet paper.

Some folks stopped because of the debris were seen to load some of the TP rolls in their vehicles.

We took a piece of furniture out of our TV room and rearranged the rug and sofas. We're really liking it, and I feel kinda silly reading about all the other Spring cleaning going on here.
There is something special about camping in an RV.

Take the camper to the restaurant andget out the table and chairs. Go in, read the menu and order, then go out to the "patio" sit down and eat. It's half way between take out and eating out.

SIGH!! Two days ago I finished re assembling my motorbike for another fun filled spring and summer season. Fired the bike up and had her purring quite nicely. That night and yesterday we received about six inches of snow. Last night our local temps dropped to about -20*. SIGH!!

Cheers!

Sauerkraut is a fermented product. I would open it (outdoors) and give it a smell. My father made kraut for years back in the day. If it is bad, you will know it as soon as you pop the lid.
I guess smoked sausage and kraut is on line for lunch.
