I don't have a problem getting up that early. Do so every day. But I try to be quiet. Don't think someone should use power tools/gear/etc that early.

With the exception of due to an emergency of some sort, why would anyone be up during quiet hours clanging & banging around getting ready to leave?
I like the smell of diesel in the morning but I have no time for those who think it is necessary to let it 'warm' up for 15 minutes. Ever seen construction guys give equipment that sort of time before running engines right up to operating speed?
