Kumho 857 as a tire/wheel package?

Just curious if anyone knows where this can be purchased, could be that it's a tire only. I would like a fresh set of wheels, worst case I just need to purchase separately.

Would like white spoke, 205/75/14 5x4.5

I have searched the net, no luck, maybe someone has a resource they can share if possible.

This is for a single-axle 5x10 utility trailer, 3500lb axle.

Good choice w Kumhos if you can find them. Idk if they stopped making and are just selling overstock or what.
But check out etrailer.com. I've gone away from Kumhos due to availability, but there are now several choices for 14" D load rated trailer tires that have come available in the last few years.

I would have no problems with putting passenger tires on a single axle trailer as long as they were rated for the weight being carried. Single axle trailers do not get the side loading and scraping that dual or triple axle trailers get.
My utility trailer (5 X 10 just as the OP) has had nothing but passenger tires on it from the day I purchased it new about 25+ years ago and not a single tire problem.

Before st tires trailers came with p tires. My father in law has 1989 vacationer 5th wheel and the placard states it came with p tires

I went ahead and upgrade to the 15" tire. Maxxis 8008 205/75/15 load range D, and the wheels are 15x6 with a 2830lb capacity for any future upgrades.

I think the Kumho would be a great tire, but I want the 15" option especially since the Kumho will not be readily avail and the Maxxis is easier to come by...as well as other 15" options.

I put passenger tires on one of my utility trailers about 7 years ago. Gave the trailer to my sons to share. Tires are still on it. A small 5x10 trailer with a 3500 lb axle isn't like an 18' TT.

Your Commander Tires are passenger car tires. Anything will be better than those. If you are replacing rims and have the room I would consider the 15". Many more options for a 15" and more readily obtained if you need one on the road.

The Goodyear Endurance is avail now so that's a consideration....also a load range D in the 14" version. Not many reviews yet though.

Hard to go against the tried and true Maxxis and 857.

Thanks for that info. I purchased this trailer about 2 months ago, the tires on the trailer now are some off-brand generic Commander All-Season P205/75/14 with a 1532 lb rating...:h lol.

That's what was on the trailer when I purchased it, I'm just finishing up the wiring and safety chains so I can get it inspected...needless to say it needs tires..:)

Those M&S tires fit fine so I suppose any tire with that diameter should work, perhaps I should go to a 15" tire?

Otherwise the 14" should be fine.

Keep in mind that the Kumho is a metric tire so an ST 205 would be replaced by a 195r14. If you have the clearance you can stick with the 205. Make sure rim can handle psi for higher load range tire. I'm sure you will want at least a "D" on a single axle.

Kumho can be hard to find. Also consider:
Maxxis
or Hankook Radial RA08
both available in a 14" "D"
