well if ya can find one thats not beat to death the isuzu rodeo is a good veh for what you want. 4wd, 5 sp manual. My BIL tows one behind his class A. Might be a little heavy for you however. It has a million miles it seems on it but runs well and he got it so he could go fly fishing when he travels. It also gets used as a daily driver by his grandson when they are home. I think its a early 90's and they are not all that expensive if you can find a good one. Look at craigs list in your area, then maybe expand to others. An older bronco 2 might also fill the bill, fairly small and light for the time made. Be careful looking at the gm products as they were known to have engine problems. The B2's did too but that was the 2.9 v6, easy to upgrade if you can find a good chassis to a 4.0 ohv.
