Made it...finally bliss!!

Question

Just got to the southern shore of Lake Superior in Michigans UP.  The drive up (Northbound) was quite relaxing compared to the bumper to bumper southbound traffic on US 127 and I-75.  The lake is in our view about 100 yards away. I won't bore everyone to death with the significance of this trip, but it has been a year in the making to get here today for 2 weeks of R&amp;R.  I hope everyone had a fun filled and safe weekend.

Excellent.  Did the closing of the bridge today cause you any issues.  Some friends of our walked it today.  We were up there about 3 weeks ago.  Went to the Soo Locks.  Whole family enjoyed it.  Enjoy your two week vacation.

Probably could have left an hour sooner.  I had the Bridge Cam site on my phone and by 1:30-2:00 it was all cleared.
