It is way past time to purchase a new mattress for our Class A RV. We need a King Size mattress. Camping World has a few choices:

Denver Mattress Eurotop
Avena Foam RV Mattress
Air Beds by Select Comfort
Sleep Number RV Premier Bed

Please share any information / opinions you may have on any of these beds. We prefer a firm mattress (not rock hard) - just firm.

Thanks.

Your local mattress store mattresses will work in an RV. Go shopping and try some out. A mattress is a mattress just like most toilet paper works fine in an RV and you don't need to spend the extra bucks on RV rated nonsense.

Yes a mattress is a mattress, unless it is an RV Queen.

You mean a short queen? I had one of them and a standard queen fit in my mattress hole just fine. My RV mattress was junk so we went down to the local store and picked up a very nice queen mattress and like another post I sleep just as good in the trailer as I do at home.
2015 Eclipse Iconic Toy Hauler made by Eclipse Manufacturing which is a pile of junk. If you want to know more just ask and I'll tell you about cracked frames, loose tin, walls falling off, bad holding tanks and very poor customer service.

I hear ya! We have a 2007 Winnebago Sightseer 35J. We went with the Costco memory foam topper, which made it seem better but in all reality it still sucks.

With the slide coming in against the mattress I've been aware I need to watch the length of the mattress. If you got with a more traditional mattress get your measurements, you might need to go with a RV mattress which tend to be shorter.

We have a SleepNumber at home, good bed but really don't want to put that kind of money into the RV mattress.

After reading a lot of very positive reviews and talking to owners we've narrows down to the Wal-Mart Spa Sensations Memory Foam Mattress, I need to verify the 76" x 80" but appears to be the right balance of features & cost. Might want to check them out; different sizes range from 6, 8, 10 or 12" height.
