Mattress

Go to your local mattress store and start trying them out. Pick the one you like best and make a deal. Several years ago when we bought a new mattress for the house, we got the same model for the trailer. Never regretted it one bit.

Just bought one from Kmart. Air filled with the pump built in. The control is at the head of the bed and adjustable for comfort. Best sleeping I have had since I left home. $50 for the full. I also bought the padded mattress cover and 400 thread count sheets. I slept like a baby. Or try a memory foam. Walmart sells a decent 12 inch thick one at a really good price

Our headboard slopes back towards the bed so our bed felt pretty short. We had the room so I extended the foot of the bed frame and installed a California queen pillow top mattress. Perfect.

We just ordered a custom made one from the local mattress store. Relatively inexpensive and it will fit the short bed. It will be a 'real' mattress so hopefully it treats my back better than the mattress that came with it.

We ended up buying from The Foam Factory they can make what ever you need we ended up with a 5" firm foam in queen size.

I prefer memory foam or air. Ive had a select comfort at home for 15 yrs. In my trailers I went with memory foam. Ive been real happy with memory foam mattresses as well. And I have a history of back problems. I cant do inner spring mattesses...the arthritis in my bad is just too bad to tolorate a bad mattress.

The suggestions above for foam and air sound good to me, Id give those a shot

When we had our toy hauler, I added a 2x8 to the end of the bed frame and got a sleep by number mattress where She can set the firmness on her side, and I can set my side. And She was happy.

When we sold the TH, we put a cheap air mattress from Wally World in the TH and moved the sleep by number to the TC. And still She is happy.
