met an old-timer....

The OP's story reminds me of my father. He and Mom traveled in their 5th wheel for years before her heath went South. Then for years, Dad took care of her with such a tenderness. When she finally passed away, Dad told me he wanted to go back on the road. I helped him get set up again and off he went with his little Pug dog, Lady. I always thought; how sad to be so alone traveling when all those years he had someone to share it all with. Then one day he called me and said he was going to get married. At 79 yeas old. She's 85. That was 4 years ago and when I asked them to Thanksgiving dinner this year, at our house, he told me they would still be on the road, somewhere between Oklahoma City and Branson, Mo.

I know this guy ( ED ) who has been full timing in his Casita for 10 years and he is 77 or 78 and doing great.

Oh please.....Being in the 70's is not old! :) There are many of us out there and some much, much older and also single guys and gals! RVing can be done even when you're old. :)

That large AC on the roof is enough to turn that small RV into an icebox. No wonder he's so well preserved. :)

and DNA studies... my bride will be enjoying the open road

with husband number three by that point... I'll be fertilizing

some field.

At the Fleetwood factory we talked with a Gentleman RVer who was turning ninety. he had just changed from an A to a C. I think he was widowed. He ws enjoying life. An aviator. He may be on the forums here. Can't ind our cards with names on them.
A few years ago there was Gentleman of ninety five at the older Fleetwood facility in an A. He was widowed too, enjoying life. His kids were trying to get him to settle down, in Texas, I believe. Met a few others too. We always meet some nice Folks there.
