Mid America RV show KC

Anyone else go? Spent 2 hours looking around and some things puzzle me. Why are the dark colored exteriors and interiors and no windows? Awful drab and dark to me. This for the interior and furniture also and none had carpet. I guess I can understand the no carpet bit.

Doesn't surprise me but not alot of changes in the 9 years since ours was built. They could make them so much better.. one piece fiberglass pieces like I seen one Class C (one piece cabover). Not alot of "green technology" not a solar panel on a one, although I could of missed it. One did have a sun roof which is awesome idea. Seems like they're mostly focusing on trailers and toy haulers.

If they're going to keep making them this way ours will be in driveway for over the 15 we were expecting to! I grew in a house will dark colored paneling and when I left at 18 everything has light colored since!
  • Good, I am not the only one who noticed the dark colours & lack of windows. We went to the Atlanta GS Rally last fall. Loads of class A's. A few 5ers & TTs. Hardly a popup or anything else small in sight.

We must be some of the few who don't like living in a cave. Much prefer light wood & lots of natural light when available.
  • That's true.. Camping World was the only one with accessories. Wow based on some of those toy haulers they were blowing some serious smoke. Didn't talk to any salesman well they didn't talk to me anyways. Just guessing they probably seen this young family in not so spiffy attair and thought they couldn't afford it. It was worthing going just for the boys they wanted to go into each one... wonder what the mecca of RV shows would be?
  • We were there Friday. The one thing that stood out was every salesman I talk to said that 250/2500 truck would pull any RV in the place. Did like looking at all the Class A but there wasn't much other than RV to look at, I was hoping for more accessories on display. There was only two seminars topics for the entire show.
  • We're going tomorrow too. Went to a show in St. louis in the fall and am really hoping for a better show thiw time around. Hope they have some Class A's to look at.
  • I'm going tomorrow too see if there is anything i can't live without. Yes we too have noticed everything going dark colors. While some of them look kind of sharp that's not the norm. Some of the new darker one's make me just scratch my head and walk away.
