The Millerton Lake Camphost program is designed to assist park staff in providing a safe and enjoyable camping experience for Millerton Lake visitors.
Camphosts live in one of three designated campsites in the campground. Their appointment will last 3-6 months. In exchange for the campsite, camphosts work for the park a minimum of twenty hours per week.
Duties include but are not limited to: encouraging compliance with park rules and regulations, collecting fees, selling ice, performing light janitorail duties, assisting park staff on projects and furnishing information and assitance to park visitors.
Campsites for Hosts include water, sewer, and electricty with acces to laundry facilities.
