Thankfully, we avoid staying in private RV parks and resorts (wishful thinking) unless there is no other viable choice for many of the reasons stated above. It's usually not something management can do much about, private RV parks are designed and run to make a profit and thus will rarely satisfy everyone each and every time. I believe most people don't waste their time with complaints and just leave early or never plan to return unless they had significant issues or paid an excessive nightly fee. That being said, we do have a few favorite private RV parks we frequent in areas we enjoy visiting often, but it's rarely due to amenities provided or property appeal, it's rather more about the sense of overall good karma that some parks and their (down to earth) owners seem to exude each time you arrive.
