Moving from a BrakeMaster to a Invisibrake

We are switching coaches and switching dinghy's too. I opted to move to a Invisibrake on the new CRV vs the BrakeMaster that I had on my Jeep Liberty. The BrakeMaster worked great, but setup was a little clunky. I like the simplicity of the Invisibrake.

Any issues or tips from those already using the Invisibrake???

Thanks.
  • I had mine installed at the Roadmaster factory. The tech adjusted the pressure based on what he knew about the toad and coach weight. We then took it for a drive to see how things worked. I drove without the exhaust brake on on level ground to see if I could feel the toad stopping the coach, which I couldn't. It appears that the correct adjustment is about midway. On a long downhill, with the exhaust brake on, the Invisibrake will turn off in 7 seconds. It will also go off whenever you apply throttle. It works as advertised and I am happy with it.
