My 20 foot Travel Trailer has had the same Chinese tires on it for 10 years.

I decided it was time to get new ones.

My local mechanic / tire guy got me some new ones and when I got it home I checked the sidewall and found out that they were not made in China !!!

They were made in Thailand. ๐Ÿ˜›

Actually, he says that these are suppose to be a better tire. I know that they take 65 PSI air pressure. The last Chinese ones were only 50 PSI.

A blowout 10 miles from home can ruin a trip, damage a trailer and even cause a collision as bad as a blowout 1000 miles from home. You are not more safe close to home. Trailer tires age out and seldom wear out.

Are they Maxxis? I've had great service out of them and they are made in Thailand.

Kinda like the 2 old cowboys sitting in a bar, 1st one says "it takes me 3 days to drive across my ranch" the second cowboy looks at him and says "I had a truck like that once".

I camp close to home and I am just a weekend camper. The old tires probably only have about 10000 miles on them.

Ten year old trailer tires? Sounds like a pretty good tire no matter where they were made.
