Need input from swivel wheel owners

Hey,

I purchased a swivel wheel 58dw last year used. Swivel wheel 58 and 58dw Just this year getting around to getting a hitch installed and hooking up to the 5th wheel.

When I purchased it second hand, the owner showed me how to hook it up but I seem to have forgotten how to raise the platform to level with the adjustable mounting plates.

I seem to recall that I need to disconnect the hitch assembly from the swivel wheel adjustable mounting plates. Then I need to connect the hitch assembly to the receivers. Then reconnect the hitch assembly to the swivel wheels adjustable mounting plates.

I seem to remember taking one of the pins out of the plates, raising that side with a pry bar, to the next hole in the plate, then reinserting the pin. Keep doing this until the platform is level front to back and of course, side to side.

Is this correct?

How do you do it?

I will give them a try. Have not had a lot of luck in contacting them before. Was hoping someone here had the same swivel wheel.

Doesn't it have adjustable jacks on the corners to hold the trailer up when it's unhooked? My SmartTrailer had two swivel jacks at each front corner.

It does, but it still has to be lifted up to get it level. It won't just roll up and in. And it's too heavy to muscle lift.

Did take a look. They have much information on their site. We also got a handbook with the trailer purchase. But, nowhere does it specifically say, how to lift the trailer.
