New 4X4 truck

Just traded my 2004 dodge 2500 truck in for a 2015 GMC 2500 4X4. The truck bed in the GMC id 4" higher than my Dodge. Will this make much difference when towing my 30' 5er? Appreciate any advice.
  • Yes, a new (and lowered) stinger is the best bet! You don't want to tow something catte-wompus
  • I have the exact same truck and the height is causing me issues. First thing to try is lowering the hitch as much as possible. Check if your kingpin box can move up a set of holes while leaving your bed rail clearance sufficient.

    What hitch are you using?
