New Grill For Camping

We've had a Green Mountain Grills Daniel Boone grill at home for about 3 years, and we love it. I finally got their portable model, the Davy Crockett, for camping. It replaces our Coleman RoadTrip grill. This grill can grill at high temps, and smoke at low temps. The drip pan even slides to open holes over the burn pot for grilling directly over the flames. I can't wait to get it on the road and smoke some ribs and a tri-tip!!!

  • Beautiful looking unit. We have a Traeger junior and got the fold up leg kit for it last year. Took it with us to AZ for 3 1\2 months this winter. So glad we did!
  • I have the Daniel Boone and took it camping - but that thing is big and heavy. Have been thinking hard about a Davy Crockett for a bit....
