Hi guys,

Looking to buy new recliners for the FW. I like the look of these.

Does anyone have experience with them? Are they comfortable. Hard to buy something you can't even try out.

Please chime in.

I replaced the 2 in mine with cloth LaZBoy swivel rocker/recliners . I did not want leather or any of the lookalikes because I think it is cold in winter and hot and sticky in the summer.

If you go to a LaZBoy store, you can custom order them in the color and fabric you want. They are shipped with the backs unattached so they fit through the door easily.

The smartest thing I did was get rid of the OEM recliners.

We thought about switching the position of our sofa and recliners. Not enough room. The sofa is 38" deep. Can't close the slides. Bathe rcliners can be turned 90* to minimize their profile. So my limit is 34".

We purchased two recliners from IKEA and replaced our nasty uncomfortable hide-a-bed couch that was in our fifth wheel. We LOVE them. They are dark brown leather and were 28" wide. My DH is a big man, but they fit him fine. It has a high back, but they are narrow. I wasn't sure if he would fit, but he did. Then I started worrying about getting them in the door, but they are only 21" high when the back is folded down. Fit in the door perfectly. We have a small side table between them and it's perfect.

Best move we have made in a long time.

We canned our sofa/bed and purchased a La z-boy love seat dual recliner that fit perfectly in the slide...one of the best purchases I've made in an up grade to our 5er. Very comfortable, very durable and easy to get into the 5er by removing the back of the recliner....May want to look at that aspect of putting certain sofa's and recliners into the 5er....that there is enough room to get it into the 5er

Our MH came with Flex Steel recliners in it. Nice looking recliners but they're too short for me. My head falls off the back and the leg support is too short. I'm 6' 2" so I'm a little taller than normal, but a 5' 10" person might have problems with them also

At 6'3", I'm with you. Exactly why I need to sit in the chair. My butt is wider than most. I have to shop in big and tall for shirts. Not for pants. Yet! Lol! So, sitting in the chair is monumental. The weight of the chair is no problem. But the width is. I have to stay less than 34" to close my slides. Right now we've checked out La-Z-Boy chairs. Saw a few that might work but the seat on the chairs are 18.5". Really? 18.5". I'm a man, not a boy! So that being said, I have a La-Z-Boy store a mile from my house so a visit will be made in early August.

Btw, I tried to speak with CW customer service. Just to sit in the chair to try it out, I have to have them shipped to the house. Shipping 95.00/chair. Too much for a test drive.

Measure available space, with slides in, then go looking in a big box furniture store. Part of the problem may be getting them in the door so check on removal of the chair back.

The Camping World brochure came out with an add for a mattress from Denver Mattress Co (I think that's who it was) that looked good. We tried several CWs over a couple of months so we could look at and feel one. While all of the stores could order one, none of then stocked it. They didn't make a sale to us.

They aren't going to sell many of these type items unless people can actually see and touch them first.

I'd sure want to sit in them first. But, I prefer cloth anyway.
