Funny, I googled and it's about 50/50. - Anmacc2ExplorerI just add air. The only place by me to get nitrogen is at Costco and they will only put it in the tires they've sold.
- KD4UPLExplorerJust use an air compressor. There's no need to ever worry about the nitrogen for as long as you own the tires. I don't see why anyone would want to make a special trip to a tire store just to get nitrogen in their tires everytime one was low.

Agree and that's my way of thinking. - dodge_guyExplorer IIAny old air is fine. yes Nitrogen is a huge money maker! All my tires have lasted quite a long time with just the Nitrogen in the air.
- DutchmenSportExplorerThe question has been posted many times on these forums, and the overwhelming majority respond, ... just use regular air. I agree.
Since both my automobiles are still under warranty and all servicing is covered for 2 years, I don't worry about my tires. They take care of them. But once out of warranty, I have my own air compressor. My last car originally came with nitrogen, but I'm sure when we traded it was all just normal air. My TT tires are all air. I think the "nitrogen" (thing) is just a gimmick, to make you think you need something special. You don't. ... as stated above ... race cars and airplanes, yes, The family RV ... NO! - Dick_BExplorerGee! we haven't had a post on nitrogen in the RV tires in several weeks. Must be getting close to camping season again...
