Not been a good week for the motorhome

We needed to get repairs done on our motorhome that costs us $6,142!! Needed routine maintenance and a new roof. DH picked it up as as he was driving it home, it was shaking bad. Although he was only going about 35 mph (all backroads)he wasn't sure if he was going to be able to get it home. He wasn't sure if the wind, which was very strong, was part of the problem It was to late in the day to take it to a large truck shop that also works on diesel motorhomes.

The next day, he thought he would try to drive it around the block of our home to see if it was doing the same thing. Well it was. So had a tow truck pick it up to take to the truck shop.

Thank goodness we were not travelling in it. But it is a sinking feeling seeing your motorhome being taken off by a tow truck. No to mention wondering what this new problem is going to costs!

Thanks everyone. Just glad it was at home instead of on highway where we could have wrecked, killed someone or been killed.

As far as vacation plans, with the amount of money it has costs so far and now not knowing what this might costs, it is a wait and see.

Mine has only been attached to a tow truck once; it was a sad thing to see...though it was a step up as stranded by side of road was sadder.

Hope it works out OK. Let u know what happens.
