Buster... here's some additional pictures. I've removed the end cap and spring to accommodate the 'Pioneer Upgrade Kit'. The kit basically removes the springs and turns the awning into a manual crank up awning.... I got tired of replacing broken roller springs and this is much easier. Anyway... here are the additional pictures.
This is the end cap:

This is the top of awning support and roller tube with the lock doohickey folded back a bit.. that's what attached to the locking lever:

FWIW, I'll be tossing the old end caps and springs... and could also remove the lock/unlock bar and doohickey if anyone could use them for the price of shipping.
