Would help if you'd tell us what type of Onan... Microlite or Emerald? Also is it new enough to flash trouble codes?

For help from the 'real' Onan techs, you need to state the complete model # & spec letter, and probably ask the mods to move your thread to the 'tech' forum. Some there are really helpful, but won't waste their time responding without the model & spec.
